Skincare Routine Refresh
Hey babes — Happy Wednesday!
A year ago I shared my skincare routine in one of my very first GalOffDuty sends… and let’s just say, she’s had a glow-up.
Between constant travel, long days, beach weekends, and yes… evolving gracefully, I’ve learned it’s not about more products. It’s about the right ones.
This latest reset? It happened in Spain. Because somehow, European pharmacies just hit different — shelves stacked with under-the-radar gems we wish we had back home.
👇 Scroll for the updated routine and the products I’m bringing back in bulk. Cheers & martinis, Frances 🍸 @GalOffDuty

My Skincare Routine, One Year Later
There’s something about European pharmacies… you walk in for one thing and walk out with a whole new routine.I didn’t plan it—but I ended up discovering a few products that completely changed how my skin feels. More hydrated, more glowy, and just… healthier.
Cleanse I start with Sesderma Salises Foamy Soap-Free Cleanser It’s gentle but still gives that clean feeling without stripping my skin—which is key for me.
Antioxidant Serum SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic This is that product. It brightens, protects, and gives that glow from within.
Moisturize ISDIN Hyaluronic Moisture (for oily/combination skin) Lightweight, super hydrating, and perfect for Puerto Rico weather.
SPF (always, always) Non-negotiable. Every single day.
Cleanse (again) Same Sesderma cleanser—keeps it simple and consistent.
Treatment Serum (rotation) SkinCeuticals P-TIOX Peptide Serum on most nights for smoothing and hydration.
On nights when I’m not going to the beach the next day, I switch to my retinoid. It helps with texture, skin turnover, and overall glow—but I’m mindful with it because of sun exposure.
Eye Cream Le Tiare Gaze Magnifique Eye Cream Hydrating, brightening, and something I’ve become more consistent with.
Moisturize Back to my ISDIN moisturizer to lock everything in.
One thing that didn’t change: my Luminielle exfoliator.
I’ve been using it since my last routine, and it’s still a staple. It keeps my skin smooth, helps with texture, and makes everything else absorb better.
Proof that when something works—you keep it.
Skincare doesn’t need to be complicated to be effective.
If anything, the more I simplify, the better my skin looks.
Hydration > overdoing activesConsistency > trying everything newBeing mindful (like with retinoids + sun) > blindly following routines
Right now, my skin feels balanced, glowy, and healthy—and that’s the goal. Not perfect. Just good skin that works with my lifestyle. And honestly… sometimes all it takes is a trip to Madrid and a good pharmacy moment
