+ $1000 OFF Bathroom Remodel
Why I Keep Coming Back to The Hoxton
Hey hey! Luxury hotels are having a serious moment—think $1000+ per night stays at places like Six Senses and Rosewood, where even the mini bar feels aspirational. And while those ultra-luxe brands might be worth the splurge, let me put you on to something: The Hoxton. It’s stylish. It’s vibey. And best of all? It delivers that elevated, boutique experience for about a third of the price. (Yes, you can still afford dinner after check-in.). Every Hoxton I’ve stayed at—from London to Paris—has nailed the details, but below I’ve gotta share my new fave: Hoxton Barcelona! Today’s Newsletter is brought to you by BCI Bath & Shower w/ 💰$1000 OFF Your Dream Bathroom Remodel. TRAVEL
There are hotels that do their job, and then there are hotels that feel like they were made for you. The Hoxton in Barcelona? Definitely the latter.
I wasn’t paid to write this — in fact, this wasn’t even supposed to be a blog post. But after a stay that felt seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely memorable, I couldn’t not share.
From the moment we walked in, the energy was just right. The staff treated us like we’d been coming for years — welcoming us with the sweetest gift in the room, a surprise upgrade, and a late checkout that made all the difference. It felt effortless but intentional — and that’s rare.
Everyone we encountered was genuinely kind and helpful, from the front desk to the rooftop bar. We got great local recs, fun conversation, and even a little help navigating a last-minute wedding detour. We had to head to France on Friday and the team kindly stored all our bags. When we returned on Sunday, it felt like we were picking up right where we left off — like coming home, just with better lighting and cocktails.
Speaking of cocktails — TOPE, the rooftop restaurant, is everything. The vibes are Tulum-meets-Barcelona: relaxed but buzzy.
We went up for a quick bite and stayed for hours. The tacos and margaritas were easily some of the best of our trip.
And downstairs, the Lobby Bar is a go-to whether you’re looking for coffee, cocktails, or a cozy spot to catch up on emails. Also, don’t sleep on the Chicken Caesar Salad (yes, I had it more than once) — it’s comforting but fresh, and available all day. Pro Tips for Your Stay • Snag a cabana: Reserve one poolside in advance — it’s prime for people-watching and frozen paloma sipping. • Tacos + frozen paloma = heaven: Trust me, these are a must. • Ask for late checkout: The team goes above and beyond — if they can make it happen, they will. • The Lobby Bar is that girl: From morning espresso to nightcap, it delivers. • TOPE rooftop is a vibe: Come for a quick bite, stay for the sunset.
The Hoxton Barcelona nails that blend of casual luxury, thoughtful service, and beautiful design — the kind of hotel that makes you feel like you belong. Whether you’re here for a single night or a full-on escape, this place just gets it.
Not sponsored, not gifted — just love.
