Traditionally, the Pachira Aquatica (aka the money tree) is said to attract good fortune, especially when placed near the entryway or in a bright corner of your home. In feng shui, its five leaves represent the five elements — earth, water, fire, wind, and metal — creating harmony and balance.

It’s thoughtful, symbolic, and beautiful. Whether it’s for a new home, a new business, or a fresh start, it’s a living reminder of growth and abundance. Plus, unlike flowers, it keeps growing — just like good energy should.

How to care for it

Keep it in bright, indirect sunlight. Water it once a week (or when the top inch of soil feels dry), and avoid letting it sit in water. Give it a little love and positive intention, and it’ll thrive for years.

You don’t need to search far to bring one home — you can find money trees almost anywhere, from Costco (when they have them!) to Home Depot, Amazon or your favorite local plant shop. Each one feels a little different, so pick the one that “speaks” to you.
